About Corvidae: 

​

Stemming from her project 'Covijo-99' initiated during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Corvidae expands upon the conversation of healing and practices of care. 

​

Inspired by the masks of 17th-Century plague doctors, Corvidae recontexualises the matter of healing and mask-wearing in the contemporary period. 

​

A reminder of the past and an omen of a foreboding future, Corvidae highlights the importance of community care and civic responsibility.
